Safeguarding is about protecting the health, wellbeing and human rights of all individuals, and in particular about protecting children and vulnerable adults from abuse and neglect.

Prevent is a government policy intended to safeguard people and communities from the threat of terrorism.

If you see or hear anything that concerns your own safety or the safety of others, please use our reporting form to tell us about it.

Doing so will allow us to build up a case file of reported incidents that will help us be better prepared to identify and respond to potential issues in future.

Expectations of you

Be on time, and let us know if you’ll be late.

Attend every session, unless you’ve let us know in advance.

Make a serious attempt to finish every workshop.

Work together during workshops, respect each others’ time outside of them.

Pastoral Care

  • You’ll meet individually with the course facilitator in the first 3 weeks of the course;
  • We’ll also check in with you near the end of the course;
  • You can also schedule additional meetings at any time;
  • Use these meetings to talk about any questions or concerns you have relating to the programme;
  • We’re here to support you.
